Balda

Designed for the gardens of the Villa Medici in Rome, Balda reinterprets the archetype of the four-poster bed as a piece of landscape architecture. The room becomes an open pavilion: a place to rest, gather and perform, shaped by sliding textile panels that filter light, wind and views.

Above, a suspended volume replaces the traditional canopy, framing the sky itself — an invitation to lie down, look up and slow time.
