Boune

Located in the heart of Paris, the Boune project is an exercise in architectural layering, where Haussmannian heritage meets a disciplined, contemporary vocabulary. The renovation honors the apartment’s original soul—meticulously restoring the rhythmic sequence of herringbone parquet and ornate moldings—while introducing a series of sharp, modern interventions.
A dialogue of materials defines the interior: the warm, reflected light of brass accents plays against the visceral, violet veining of Calacatta Viola marble. Used as a singular, sculptural element, the marble anchors the minimalist aesthetic with a sense of quiet drama. The transition to the exterior reveals a rare urban sanctuary; the terrace has been reimagined as a landscaped extension of the living spaces, a low-maintenance oasis designed to blur the boundary between the historic interior and the Parisian sky.
